PCCC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Care Center established to enable the elders of our area to live to their
full potential. There are many ways in which you can help us maintain our mission of service to our deserving long-term and short-term rehabilitation residents.
ENDOWMENT FUND ACCOUNT
PCCC’s Endowment Fund Account provides a permanent fund whose return on investment is used to enhance
the overall operation of the Care Center. Examples are purchases of equipment or funding the upgrade of facilities. Oversight
of this account is provided by PCCC’s Board of Directors.
SPECIAL PROJECTS ACCOUNT
PCCC’s Special Projects Account contains general donations and funds which the donor has designated for
specific projects such as special equipment, resident activities or room renovations. Oversight of this fund is provided
by PCCC’s Board of Directors.
EMPLOYEE EQUIPMENT FUND
This account provides a means for PCCC’s employees to voluntarily donate a specified amount from each
pay check to purchase equipment for the nursing home. Some examples of past purchases are specialized beds for residents,
benches and tables for a courtyard, and physical therapy equipment. Donations are accepted from private parties. Oversight
of this fund is provided by PCCC Administration, reportable to PCCC’s Board of Directors.
YOUR TIME – VOLUNTEER!
One of the most satisfying ways to contribute to PCCC’s residents is the gift of your time. By reaching
out to our residents, you receive so much more back! There are many ways to volunteer, including:
-
Help with scheduled activities, such as “News and Notes” or Bible Study.
-
Assist with arts and crafts projects.
-
Visit or read with residents one-on-one
-
Give a musical program.
-
Help with special activities, such as accompanying residents to the County Fair, fishing day, etc.
